The Lay-In Tile Ceiling System is a widely used, accessible ceiling solution featuring square or rectangular metal tiles that rest (lay) on an exposed T-grid suspension system. This system provides a clean, modular ceiling appearance while offering quick access to services above the ceiling, making it especially suitable for commercial offices, hospitals, educational institutions, and retail environments. Tiles are available in standard sizes of 600×600mm, 300×1200mm, and 600×1200mm, with options for custom dimensions to meet unique design needs.
Each tile is fabricated from galvanized steel or aluminum alloy and typically has a depth of 10–15mm. The exposed grid system (T-grid) allows tiles to be easily lifted or replaced for maintenance, while the system supports various design finishes including powder coating, PVDF, and optional perforation with acoustic backing. This ceiling system is valued for its cost-efficiency, simple installation, and excellent compatibility with integrated services like lighting, fire sprinklers, and air-conditioning vents.
